Personal Emergency Response System

The Personal Emergency Response System is a combination of caring people and advanced technology, designed to improve the quality of life for those living alone, including the elderly, handicapped and functionally impaired, allowing them to live with security and independence. Units are installed and maintained by the Perry County Memorial Hospital (PCMH) Auxiliary for a small monthly fee. The subscriber wears a wireless monitor as a pendant. When help is needed, the wireless monitor can be activated and a nationwide call center is automatically alerted that the subscriber needs help. For more information, please call the Personal Emergency Response System Service at 573.547.2848.
