People Care More Here . . .

It's more than just a motto at Perry County Memorial Hospital (PCMH). It is the motivation behind everything we do. Perry County Memorial Hospital is small enough to provide individual attention to patients, yet large enough to provide the latest technology and depth of specialty available in larger cities. If we can be of any assistance during your visit to PCMH, please notify a hospital volunteer or employee. If you have any questions prior to your visit, please call 573-547-2536.

Visiting Hours

The top priority for PCMH is the health and well-being of our patients, visitors, healthcare providers, and community. All visitors are required to wear masks at all times while visiting and hand hygiene must be performed. Please see below for more details regarding our current visitor policy.

All designated visitors must remain the same throughout the duration of the patient’s stay as this role cannot be shared between multiple people.

  • Obstetrics patients are allowed two visitors for the duration of their stay; this includes the partner and one adult.
  • ER patients are allowed to designate two visitors for the duration of their visit.
  • Hospital patients are allowed two visitors for the duration of their stay with specific actions needed by the visitors. Additional details can be found here.
  • Surgery patients are allowed one designated visitor for the duration of their stay.
  • Patients visiting for outpatient testing should attend alone. If it is necessary for someone to accompany the patient, one visitor is allowed.
  • Patients with physician clinic appointments should attend alone, if possible. If necessary, one attendant will be permitted.
  • All pediatric clinic appointments are allowed one visitor.

Exceptions may be made in end-of-life situations or when a visitor is essential for the patient's well-being and care. Please also note this policy is subject to change as the patient’s medical condition as well as circumstances within the hospital may require different guidelines than the current policy allows.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we care for your loved one.
