Amber Bishop

Chief Nursing Officer

Amber Bishop began her career as a Registered Nurse at Perry County Memorial Hospital in 2004. She received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Mineral Area College and began as Staff Nurse in the Medical/Surgical department. She then moved to a Staff Nurse in the Cardiopulmonary Rehab and Cardiology Clinic area in 2008 before becoming the Nurse Manger of that area in 2013. In that role, Amber oversaw ten cardiology clinics and the daily functions of Cardiopulmonary Rehab. She then went on to obtain her Bachelors in Nursing from Southeast Missouri University in 2015.

With the retirement of Barb Ernst in December 2017, Amber Bishop accepted the position of Director of Nurses at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

Amber is a member of the Missouri Organization of Nurse Leaders and serves as a board member for the Regional Family Crisis Center.
